Michael Schreyer is an advocate for the injured. He is a leader among injury attorneys in Maryland and Washington, DC. He is the Maryland representative to the National Advisory Board of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America (APITLA). Mr. Schreyer's success in the courtroom has led to "National Recognition of Achievement in Civil Trial Advocacy" from the Million Dollar Advocates Forum; "Preeminent," from Martindale-Hubbell; "Superb" from AVVO; as well as membership in Super Lawyers.

Mr. Schreyer also serves as an active member of the Medical Malpractice Section of the Maryland Association for Justice, and has recently litigated cases against Southern Maryland Hospital, Calvert Memorial Hospital and the emergency department physicians at Charles Regional and St. Mary’s County Hospitals. Mr. Schreyer currently serves as a member of the Interstate Trucking Group of the American Association of Justice, which provides leadership and education for the nation's advocates for victims of catastrophic injuries in tractor trailer and bus collisions. 


Maryland attorney, Michael J. Schreyer has devoted over 20 years to developing thorough trial skills and knowledge in more than one thousand cases. An accomplished appellate advocate, he has overturned and defended trial court decisions through appeals to Maryland’s highest courts. He has been a speaker for the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Education Association state convention, concerning current appellate cases, and for the Maryland Trial Lawyers’ Association, concerning claims by traveling employees.

He is a council member to the Maryland State Bar Association’s Negligence, Insurance & Workers’ Compensation Section,  a member of the Legislative & Amicus Brief Committees of the Maryland Trial Lawyers’ Association and has been selected to the National Advisory Board of the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America.  Mr. Schreyer has received National recognition of achievement in Civil Trial Advocacy by the Million Dollar Advocates Forum,  holds the highest rating available (AV® Preeminent™) from Martindale-Hubbell, carries a Superb 10 out of 10 rating with AVVO and has been named to Super Lawyers in Maryland and the District of Columbia. In addition to these activities he is actively involved in the Bar Associations of Charles, St. Mary’s,  Calvert and Prince George’s Counties. A graduate of the Washington and Lee University School of Law, Mr. Schreyer also contributes his time on the boards of directors of several community service organizations.
